A few checks that make moving day a lot less complicated.

Use your accommodation provider’s instructions to confirm your check-in time and key collection point. Tell them if travel delays could mean a late arrival.
2. Check your room together
Read the inventory, photograph existing damage for your own records, and tell the provider about problems through its official process. Ask how heating, laundry and waste collection work.
3. Keep account access private
Your buddy can help you understand a process, but keep passwords, banking credentials and signing decisions to yourself. Use official university housing support for tenancy concerns.
